George`s Italian Pizzaria in Houston

Me and my girlfriend are big time foodies. We have been all over the state trying pizza, and I have to say that this place had the best pizza I have ever had. We got the Gyro pizza, and it was to die for. The Gyro meat was perfectly seasoned with alot of spice to it. Will definitely be back.

Worst pizza place I've been to, a good pizza shouldn't flop, this thing was soggy and the dough tasted like high school pizza, my crust was falling off. The Alfredo pasta had no flavor, you normally use heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and butter to make, but this was just plain white sauce, the chicken was weird thin white rubbery looking, the coke was flat, the only thing that was good was the cheese and pepperoni that was on this horrible soft undercooked soggy crust.... To make it worse we had to rush home, something made us sick to our stomachs!

I have been coming here for years, mostly for take out. Food is consistently delicious and excellent service. Never had a bad experience.

Fresh pizza. It is our favorite pizza place. The lasagna is really good too. The staff are always so nice as well. It is a very simple place but the food is delicious.

Restrooms need lots of help. Table cloths could handle a change or at least a good cleaning.

I had my doubts when we first walked In but was pleasantly surprised they have the best lasagna I've ever tasted. My wife and son had a pizza it was very good also.

The food hasn't changed since gone there years ago. The service is great. Also it isn't pricey. I'll be going back soon.

Definitely the best specialty pizza in our SE Houston area. $20 for a huge stuffed Super Special pizza, ready in 25 minutes, and so fresh and tasty. Try it out. Support your local pizza shop.

Best place to eat near hobby area. You’re missing out if you don’t stop by! It’s an Italian place but the gyro is better than most Mediterranean spots!

Great pizza not the best but it's good!

I ordered a medium 2 topping pizza with a Greek salad and iced tea. Everything was delicious and reasonable prices, took 1/2 the pizza home. For me it was comfortable and enjoyable. I will definitely be going back to try some pasta. Highly recommend it.

Been attending this restaurant for about 10 years. Food is always excellent, you will get treated as family every time. Very relaxing atmosphere. Easy to find with reasonable prices. You will not be disappointing. Tired of big chain food and service go here instead.

The Alfredo sauce had far too much nutmeg in it and I was unable to eat it.They did offer to replace it but by that time, we needed to get back to work.The server was very nice and the lentil soup was very good.

Quintessential hole in the wall. Awesome Hollywood decor. like all the old actors, Food is good and servers are always nice. Decor is pretty cool. haven't tried anything I didn't like. got the pizza with the artichokes, the gyro, all good. waitresses are sweet and the atmosphere

not the best, but pretty good. you can tell that most of their ingredients are packaged / processed / frozed.on the plus side, they obviously run a deal with police for lunch so you won't get robbed!

Spaghetti sauce tasted like it came out of a jar!!!

Im sorry to say the reviews are quite good but they could use some help on their red sauce and the garlic bread wasnt so good. One thing positive i can say i got the chicken lemonata or something like that and was delighted it has tarragon which was very nice. I still kinda needed some zing but i do love tarragon.

Been living in the area for around 14 years & I just got to try their food. Honestly it’s pretty damn good. The spaghetti is amazing & the sauce is really savory. The pizza is really good as well. The crust is crunchy yet soft and not thick, it’s really good. The cheese is amazing. It’s just so good. The ingredients as well. The only part I think could improve is the tomato sauce, other than that everything is honestly really good. Surprised how I never gave this place a chance before, until one day I decided to stop going to McDonald’s across from them and try them out... don’t regret it!

This place had the tastiest and best chicken parmigiana. The sauce is homemade and the portion of sauce served was plentiful. The pasta 🍝 was perfect 👌, it was homemade. We also ordered a spaghetti and meatballs. The plate was super filling and the portion was well served. The two meat “pizza was soft and really easy to bite into” said my table guests. They thoroughly enjoyed it and we even took some home. The service was amazing. Both ladies made sure to serve us and check on us. Their tea and lemonade were also great. The tea reminded me of my moms tea. Amazing experience. Come support local!!! Georges Pizzeria is one of the best Italian spots in Houston.

Great Greek Salad

I saw this little place and thought it might have been a hidden treasure but as soon as I walked in you can see where the chef is cooking I see her pulling pasta with her hands and putting it on someone's plate. That is not ok. As a food industry worker I walked out. Completely turned my stomach. Use gloves lady !!!

The food was okay but the wait time was horrible!It took more than an hour to get my food today!

We tried a place we have never been. We really enjoyed the food and it was clean. We will go again, next time we are in town.

Very tasty food, including the only spaghetti my girlfriend eats other than her own! LOL! Reasonable prices and always very good service.

You wouldn't know it from the outside but once you step inside this place is legit! Kookie decor extremely reminiscent of old Italian eateries in the north eastern US where I grew up. Food was great!!!! Pizza, sandwiches and pasta all great! We'll be back!!!

This place is a diamond in the rough! The Super Supreme pizza is one of the best I've had in Houston. The staff was friendly; the prices were right. I love a good, local, mom and pop restaurant. This one does not disappoint.
